The location of this property is hard to beat. Just 100m from the shoreline, the sea is so inviting you’d be hard pressed to find excuse not to take a morning dip before breakfast. Stomorska is a small fisherman’s village with a picturesque waterfront, traditional stone houses, stunning beaches and, if you’re a keen cook, the local fishermen sell their mornings’ catch on the harbour front. Stomorska is on the island of Solta which is one of the chain of islands that surround Split harbour and there are regular car ferries the island and the mainland.

Despite Solta being so close and well-connected to Split, it is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. Here, the beaches are calm, the sea crystal clear and the local restaurants are family run, relaxed and reasonably priced. Inland there are lots of family-run farms making local honey, olive oil and wine. This is a wonderful area for cycling and hiking. Along the coast, there are lots of beautiful coves and beaches to explore, made all the more accessible if you fancy head out in a boat. If you need any more activities to throw into the mix, the kayaking and diving are amazing too! As holiday destinations go, it’s hard to beat and having a holiday home here would be a wonderful escape, all year round.
