In the historic centre of a beautiful Italian hilltop spa village. this lovely property has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony with stunning views of the Tuscan valley below. With so many highlights and destinations in the area, there is plenty of holiday letting potential… or, you could just keep it all to yourself - the ideal bolt-hole in the sun!
Originally built in the 1800’s, the building was renovated 2004 and separated into two apartments. This property has approx 100sqm habitable space. The other residence is only occasionally used, so the apartment is a quiet and relaxing place to be. It has many features typical of the rustic, Tuscan style, such as ceilings with exposed wooden beams arches, terracotta floors and a lovely open wood fire.
The apartment has a large open plan living area with the kitchen and breakfast bar at one end, and large french doors that open out onto a lovely balcony with those stunning views over the valley below.
There are two generous double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom, plus another family bathroom along the hallway.
There is certainly no shortage of things to do in the area. In fact, being located in Chianciano Terme, the apartment is situated right in the centre of what is considered one of Italy’s finest health resorts. The health properties of the hilltop town’s thermal waters have been recognised since Roman times and are considered particularly good at cleansing the liver and curing respiratory conditions. Needless to say, the numerous Spas in town are a major attraction and very enjoyable pastime too. There is also an public olympic-sized swimming pool and a lovely open park area 5mins walk from the apartment. This area is a real hub of the town and a great place to relax and cool off in the summer.
The apartment is the main residence of the current owner, and being in such a great location and with its’ flexible living space, it would be an interesting holiday rental investment. However, if you don’t feel like sharing it, it’s the ideal little bolt-hole in the heart of this beautiful region of Italy.
The property was constructed in 1800.
