The traditional fishing ports of Fiascherino and Tellaro are also well worth a visit, particularly around lunchtime!

At the northern end of the bay, the town of San Terenzo is also with easy reach. Again, there is plenty to explore here including a beautiful sandy beach the ideal spot for an ice-cream and a coffee while taking in the view. Both Lerici and San Terenzo are popular holiday destinations and in the summer there are ferries to Portovenere, Levanto, Portofino, Genova and, not to be missed of course, Cinque Terre. The ferry is a very civilised way to explore the nearby towns without having to take on the holiday traffic.

There are 3 international airports nearby - Florence, Genoa and Bologna, all are within easy reach.  A wide range of services and amenities can be found 15mins away in the large town of La Spezia. This apartment has huge potential. It is the perfect bolt-hole by the sea.
